We are a multidisciplinary design practice offering interior design solutions as our main focus. Established in 2016, we have completed a range of works from residences to corporate offices both in Sri lanka and India. We take on a select number of projects ensuring we provide a high quality of service with attention to detail.
Nithya Rammohan Selvanathan, Principal Designer
Nithya started Aurora Studio, an Interior Design Practice armed with an Undergraduate Degree in Architecture from the School of Architecture and Planning, Chennai, India and a Masters in Interior Architecture with a focus on Adaptive reuse from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), Rhode Island, USA. Nithya has worked for reputed firms overseas before she started Aurora Studio in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Since the inception of Aurora Studio, Nithya and her Team have completed the interiors of residences (both homes and apartments), offices and designed furniture to suit their requirements along the way.

Our Team
Aurora Studio is a passionate group of creative thinkers who have a sound background in interior and product design. Our designers and support staff are a team of quiet magicians! Our Head designer Sampath Chandrasena, along with his creative eye is a technical treasure trove. Our support staff both in house and not are a key part of our team too.

Our Approach
Design is not one size fits all! We prioritize our clients needs above all. We certainly strive for our aesthetic to shine through ensuring the primary user of the space finds it useable, calming and the space contributes to productivity. We detail and design spaces to be unique and of a superior design standard.
